The Nasarawa state government yesterday confirmed two new positive cases of Coronavirus in the state bringing the number to three.
Governor Abdullahi Sule confirmed this at a news briefing in Lafia.
He disclosed that the two new cases were two famale returnees from Lagos who were tested positive for Coronavirus of the 11 results received yesterday.
The governor disclosed that the two patients have been moved to state specialist hospital for treatment.
According to him, the two positive cases were detected of the 40 returnees from some high risk states, where eight of them tested negative while the remaining 38 persons are still in isolation.
The governor said that 11 contacts were traced to the two new confirmed cases and are being isolated.
Sule advised the people of the state to keep Social distancing, washing of hands with water and soap, Sule urged security agencies to entensify inter- state restriction oder to prevent further spread of the diseases.
