Dele Farotimi reacts after some Lagos residents were shouting “we’re hungry” when Tinubu’s convoy drove past them

Lawyer and one of the Chieftains of the Labour Party LP, Dele Farotimi has reacted after some Lagos residents were seen shouting “Ebi npa wa oo” meaning “we are hungry” after seeing the convoy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to DAILY TIMES, the traders at the Idumota market area, after seeing the presidential convoy, expressed their dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu. The report further stated that the people kept shouting they are hungry even when Tinubu’s convoy navigated through the market’s bustling lanes.

Reacting to the report, Dele Farotimi stated that to be forewarned is to be forearmed. He said people should always remember the lessons of the past to prepare the future.

He wrote on his page, “You are hungry? To be forewarned, is to be forearmed. Remember the lessons of the past; 1993-1999. Look to the past to prepare the future”.
