The younger sister of ex-minister of Power and 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in the state, Bayo Adelabu, has been kidnapped along with her twin children
The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Elewura area of Challenge, Ibadan.
The abduction comes barely three weeks after the kidnapping of 47 pupils, students, and teachers in Ahoro Esiele, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
According to reports, the woman was on her way to drop her children at school when the gunmen intercepted her at gunpoint.
She was forced to abandon her Kia Sonata vehicle before the attackers whisked her and the children away in another vehicle.
An eyewitness said the kidnappers fired sporadic gunshots into the air to scare residents and passers-by from the scene before fleeing with their victims.
