As projected on Thursday, Senator Monday Okpebholo has been declared winner of the Edo State All Progressives Congress [APC] governorship primary election.
There was excitement in the air within the fold of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress [APC] with the emergence of Okpebholo as the presumptive winner of the governorship primary poll.
Reports have it that Okpebholo, aka Akpakomiza, who represents Edo Central in the Senate, has now officially won the poll.
Chairman of the APC State Electoral Committee and governor of Cross River State, Prince Bassey Otu, consummated the process with announcement of Okpebholo.
He said the aspirant scored 12,432 votes to emerge as the winner of the primary election
