Another Tanker catches fire

 

A kerosene-laden tanker collided with a trailer at Mallam Karo village on the outskirts of Suleja, Niger state and burst into flame, Friday.

The two vehicles had five persons in them which included the two drivers were without any fatality but sustained injuries and were taken the Suleja General Hospital.

Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission , FRSC, Suleja, Olayinka Akande confirmed the accident to PenPushers. He attributed the accident to over speeding and overtaking.

Fire service officials have since put out the fire.

This is coming a day after a similar incident occurred on the Otedola bridge in Lagos where nine persons were roasted by the accompanying inferno, many others seriously injured and several cars burnt.
