The Nigeria national Under 17 female t am today defeated thier German counterparts to emerge third best at the ongoing competition taking place in India.
The Nigerian team threw away a three goals to one lead till the 85 minute to allow the Germans to equalise and force the game into a penalty shootout.
The brave Nigerian girls however prevailed in a 3:2 thriller to emerge as third runners up in the competition.
Spain takes on Spain to determine the champions in the competition.
