News from the Asian country has it that the President has been detained along with some of her party leaders.
The military said it reacted to evidence of fraud in the November 2020 general elections. Power it said has been handed over to General Ming Sung Hlaing.
The ruling party spokesman has debunked The military’s claim Of fraud buat appealed to party supporters not to react rashly to the coup and act according to the law.
However, the United Nations and other countries have expressed concern over the actions Of the military.
The U. S in its reaction said it is against altering the status quo in Myanmar.
