CHANTS OF MILITARY TAKEOVER: MAYOR AKPODORO CALLS FOR CONSEQUENCES UPON PROTESTERS, SAYS ACTION SEDITIOUS

A livid Mayor of Urhoboland and leader of ex-agitators, His Excellency Eshanakpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro has called on the security agencies particularly the Yusuf Bichi-led Department of State Secuirty, DSS to go after the “so-called protesters-turned looters” who were seen chanting in Hausa Laguage, “We don’t want this regime again, military should takeover.”

The call was made at a stakeholders meeting in Abuja where the revered modern ruler of Urhobo nation and other critical stakeholders in the Niger Delta region reviewed the #endbadgovernement protest aimed at stampeding the current administration to consider the hardship being faced by the citizens but turned violent at some points in Abuja where a video footage showed “miscreants and unbridled elements shouted regime change which I consider an affront against democracy.”

The Mayor noted that in as much as the protesters are street urchins, badly informed and ill motivated stressing that they were being used as cannon fodders by FIFTH columnists to destabilise Nigeria to give reasons for a military putsch which he said is the actual grand plan of their financiers who told them what to say.

Some political gladiators who are not happy with the new Nigeria where citizens are hopeful of their national future, His Excellency said, are behind the mischievious calls for a regime change saying it is obvious that some persons still brood over their loss at the 2023 general elections but was quick to say, no amount of criminal conspiracies can undo what God has done in the life of Nigeria and Nigerians.

In addition to the menace of the political class, the Mayor noted that another segment of the society routing for regime change are members of the subsidy cartel who he said President Tinubu regime has removed their feeding bottles by abolishing the Petroleum subsidy regime.

To the Mayor, the protest draws a map of joint criminal reactions from both disgruntled politicians and oil thieves saying, “While the current administration removed the age-long subsidy, the High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tomopolo led Tantia Security Services Nig LTD is waging unrelenting wars in the Nigerian waters against same cartel whose lives depend majorly on oil theft and sabotage against the Nigerian state. So, we are not surprised that the street urchins are speaking in the voices of our national thieves.”

The Mayor recalled that the path to democratic rule in Nigeria was tortuous and thorny but some persons who he said believe in the sanctity of self rule fought for it to berth in Nigeria stressing that while many paid the Supreme price for fighting the military for democracy others including President Tinubu survived it.

In that same era, Mayor Akpodoro continued that some neo democrats today were actually in cahoots with successive military junta then adding that same “greedy elements and enemies of Nigeria” are behind the notorious call for regime change.

He called on the President to take decisive actions against those he described the masquerades behind the bandits who made the seditious calls by ordering the DSS to massively rein in those he sees as misguided and ill informed ‘hired guns’ through whom that call was made to enable the government get to the root of the ancillary calls.

Additionally, the mayor called on the military not to rest on their oars but go after those elements who he said are having sleepless nights over a peaceful and united Nigeria as he charged them to protect the integrity and sovereignty of the Nigerian State adding that, the worst democracy is better than the best military rule.

“Well-meaning Nigerians are calling on the President to go after the proponents of a military putsch in our country and bring them to justice. They are unpatriotic with evil concupicience and greedy too. We heard a handful of miscreants who we believe are members of the notorious obidients franternity in Jos the Plateau state capital calling on the military to take over the reign of power while others in Abuja shouted “miliki soja muke so, ba muso wannla miliki, miliki soja mukeso. The President must end this madness in the streets of Nigeria. If possible, he should step on toes. We in the Niger Delta region are strongly behind our president.” The Gbaregolor Ughelli South Local Government Area-born Mayor stated.
