CONVID-19 : We’ll ready to partner with NCDC-Sule

Governor of Nasarawa state, Engr. Abdullahi Sule has said that his administration would partner the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to boost the capacity of the state’s Infections Disease Control Center to achieve its benefits of establishing the center.

He disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists shortly after an inspection of the state’s Infections Disease Control Center in Lafia, the state capital, on Friday.

He said that work has been completed on the center which now awaits commissioning which will become operational thereafter.

” we have completed the project, the surroundings, planting of flowers axcept the construction of the road leading to the center”

” We are in talking terms with partners such as the NIgeria Center for Disease Control and other partners who have indicated interest to support us while we play our part in ensuring that the center becomes fully operational for research”

” We shall be commissioning the center soon. I am happy to tell you that when the Center is fully equipped, it will serve not only the purpose of treatment of coronavirus but other infections diseases like Ebola, Lassa Fever and Malaria”

The govenor said that his administration will complete projects initiated by his predicessors for the benefit of the people of the state.
