Nigerians the world over, (diaporaens)
have cried out over the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s neglect of the country’s foreign missions.
According to information gleaned from diaporaens and the media by *penpushers online media,* have it that this neglect is impacting negatively on Nigerians living abroad.
According to a Nigerian living in Sweden, ‘life has been tough for me and my fellow Nigerians living in the Scandinavian countries due to the present policy in place.
“It is very sad to say that for the past 14 months , Nigeria diplomats all over the world have not been paid salary and have not been able to pay for their accommodation, this is because this present administration of President Ahmed Tinubu has turned a deaf ear to their pleadings .
“The 24 countries in Europe where Nigeria have embassies have only two passport machines that are available to print passports for Nigerians living in Europe.
“What would usually have taken only a day to issue a passport living abroad takes 3 months because only France and Italy have the processing machine to print Nigeria Passport”
He continued; ” Also, Nigeria diplomats are asking President Tinubu to supply every embassy with a passport printing machine and also pay them their monthly salary which has accrued for the past 14 months. Nigeria diplomats the world over have not been paid salary and have not been able to pay for their accommodation because this present administration of President Ahmed Tinubu has turned a deaf ear to their pleadings .
