Edo Works Commissioner, Hon. Felix Akhabue, Tuesday, 31st March, made a rebuttal of a falsely reported claim of properties and items damaged by erosion, as a result of the ongoing Adesua Flyover project in Benin City.
The honourable Commissioner in company of the permanent Secretary, PS, some Directors of Edo Ministry of Works, project contractor and members of the Press, were all at the spot to carry out a true assessment for themselves.
Hon. Akhabue called for patience as work is in progress, assuring the general public of a timely completion of the project; and as such should desist from such kinds of statements, that can mislead the general public.
“The Edo State Executive Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo will not allow the Government’s development policies to affect the wellbeing of the citizenry; rather he will solve whatever problems the society is already faced with.”

The Secretary of the Ivbiotor Community, Mr Moses Izevbijie was also on ground to refute the false report, calling on the public to disregard the wrong claims by these mischief makers and enemies of the good administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
