Governor of Nasarawa state , Abdullahi Sule, Wednesday flagged off construction of N1.26bn modern bus terminal in Lafia, the state capital in continuation of activities lined up to celebrate his one yeary in office.
The bus terminal which designed to have: Restaurant, bank, travellers launge, security out post and Waste disposal is to be completed in 40 weeks.
Governor Sule also Inaugurated a 2000 CBT/ JAMB professional Testing centers in Lafia and Inspected new Presidential Lounge and Isolation center at Shabu.
Speaking during the flag off of the bus terminal at Bukan Sidi, Lafia, governor Sule informed that building of the most detn bus terminal would complement infrastructural development the state capital when completed.
He said that the transport sector was one of the key sectors his administration promised to development in fulfilment of his electioneering promises.
The governor said that his administration would replicate building of the modern bus terminal in Akwanga and Keffi both the Northern and Western senatorial zones of the state.
Sule while expressing hos administration’s commitment in developing the state, saying the aim was to transform the economy of the state.
