Nasarawa state government has rolled out activities to celebrate one Anniversary of governor Abdullahi Sule in office come 29 May.
Parts of the activities include;
Inauguration of some completed projects and flag off of new project to include, Lafia bus terminal, 25 kilometer Maraba Udege road and commissioning of JAMB office on Lafia.
At a news briefing on Friday in Lafia, the state capital, the state’s deputy governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, disclosed that the celebration would be low key due to coronavorus pandemic.
He disclosed that there would be inspection of ongoing construction of Wamba- Sisinbaki road, Kilema-BAD road and inspection of ongoing construction of banquet hall at government house and many others.
Akabe said that the coronavorus has slowed down the pace of development, promising that all ongoing projects and those to be flagged off during the Anniversary celebration would be completed as scheduled.
He thanked the the people of the state for having faith in the administration, saying the present administration was working hard to fulfill your needs as electioneering promises.
