The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has removed its Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Benjamin Hundeyin, six months after he assumed the position.
A report has it that the decision, approved on Thursday, March 5, 2026, came amid ongoing internal restructuring within the police hierarchy.
The report quoted sources within the force to have said the development followed recent leadership changes after President Bola Tinubu inaugurated Tunji Disu as the substantive Inspector-General of Police barely 24 hours earlier.
Disu was appointed last week as the 23rd IGP
