The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Muhammad Buhari of the APC winner of the presidential election conducted on Saturday, Feb. 23.
According to results released and announced by the INEC boss,Mahmoud Yakubu, Buhari scored a total of 15,191,847 against the 11,262,978 scored by his closest opponent, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.
This is coming on the heels of protest raised by the PDP agent at the collation center to the effect that some core northern states did not adhere to the electoral act by non usage of the card reader machine.
