—NANS demands action—
NANS urged the listed institutions to expedite the refund process, warning that students who paid tuition before NELFUND disbursements should not be made to bear unnecessary financial burdens.
The student body said publishing the list was necessary to ensure accountability and prompt compliance by the affected schools.

NELFUND began disbursing tuition directly to institutions in 2024 to ease the financial burden on students. Under the arrangement, students who had already paid before the loan disbursement are entitled to refunds from their schools.
NANS said it will continue to monitor compliance and will engage relevant authorities if refunds are further delayed. [Rewritten story sourced from THE PUNCH]
