Nasarawa People defile COVID-19 to Assess Loan

JAIS COVID-19 Loan Applicants throng in their droves to one year of the popular cyber cafe, in Lafia, the state capital in fragrant violation to Nigeria Center for Disease Control protocols

The applicants mainly ederly women, youths who besige the Ibrahim Abacha Youth Centre Friday seeking to apply for the loan facility, queued without maintains social distancing and many with facemasks.

Besides the operator of the cyber cafe, IBCT failed to ensure orderliness neither provided sanitizer or water and soap for the thousands of the applicants to wash theirs hands.

The development forced some members of the Correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union Journalists (NUJ) whose office is located next to the cafe in the same block had to abandoned their officer for fear of contacting coronaviurs.

It was gathered that similar u healthy situation occurred at the same cyber cafe in the last exercise where thousands of applicants besieged the outlet to apply for the loan facility in gross violation to COVID-19 protocols.

Nasarawa state had witnessed rising cause of 200 confirmed cases of coronaviurs with 8 death in recent times.

Attempt to access the authorities of the IBTC cycle cafe operators for reaction was unsuccessful as
struggling crow made it unpassable to the office at the time of filling this report.
