Governorhip candidate of the People’s Democratic party (PDP) in Nasarawa state, Dr.David Ombugadu has promised to empower 14, 700 women in the first 100 days in office when elected governor of the state.
He made the promise during a rally at Akwanga, headquarters of Akwanga local government Area of the state, his administration will empower 100 women each in each the 147 electoral wards in the state in 100 days in office when elected.
The governorship hopeful promised that he would build 50 kilometers internal roads network in Akwanga and update the status of Akwanga and other Local government headquarters to cities when voted to power.
Ombugadu also promised to provide other infrastructure across the state to improve the economic fortunes of the state and address poverty, create wealth for youths in the state.
He said that he would prioritise Melenium Development Goals (MDGs) to improve the socio economic lives of the citizens of the state.
The governorship candidate however, called on residents of Akwanga and the and entire people of the state to vote for him and other candidates of the party during the 2023 general elections.
