The National Woman Leader of the ruling All progressive Congress, APC, Dr. Mary Alile-Idele has described the Supreme Court’s judgement which upheld the election of President Bola Tinubu as a show that progress was on course in the country.
In a Congratulatory message made available to Penpushers Online Media and signed by the Edo-born APC leader, noted that the President ‘can now commit himself to executing his fantastic Renewed Hope agenda without distraction’.
“I, Dr. Mrs Mary Alile, on behalf of myself, and all APC women heartily congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), on the resounding confirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court as the validly elected candidate for the position of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the February 25, 2023 Presidential Election, and having no issues of qualification. Indeed, the truth has prevailed.
“By this landmark judgement, which affirmed the earlier decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, all contentions that had been instigated by opponents have been laid to rest, and His Excellency, can now commit himself to executing his fantastic Renewed Hope agenda without distraction”.
She further stated that the victory was not only for President Tinubu but for all Nigerians, as those she referred to as ‘agent provocateurs’ who had hidden under the pursuit of a legal right to cause chaos, overthrow democracy, and derail the perfect plan by a visionary President have been roundly defeated.
She therefore reaffirmed the commitment of her office to the pursuit of the development of the nation, with particular interest in the empowerment of women which is a cardinal programme of the present administration.
