Breaking: Saraki leaves APC

Senate President’s much expected decampment from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, took a non dramatic turn Tuesday when the much hyped movement was announced by the number 3 man through his Twitter handle.

In a terse statement, Saraki wrote; “I wish to inform Nigerians that, after extensive consultations, I have decided to take my leave of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

Though he did not announce the political party he was moving to, many are of the opinion that he will move into the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with his followers which include the APC spokesman, Bolaji Abdullahi who rumour has it have already cleared his desk at the party’s National Secretariat located on Blantyre street, Wuse 2 in the Federal Capital Territory.
