Armed soldiers have invaded the Daily Trust Headquarters in Abuja.
In what many see as a renewed siege on the media, the soldiers were said to have come in their numbers.
Earlier reports have it that an Editor and a reporter with the newspaper were arrested by soldiers in Maiduguri, Bornu state.
The President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Christopher Isiguzo is quoted to have said that he has sent a team to Maiduguri insisting that “The era of hounding journalists is over”.
