Crisis broke out in the Ibeshe area of Lagos yesterday, leaving an unspecified number of persons dead and several others injured.

The cause of the crisis in which dangerous weapons were used was unknown at the time of writing this report.

According to a reliable source, the altercation erupted last night and still on this morning, leading to the destruction of homes and loss of lives.

The source specified, “The clash involved residents from Ibeshe Riverside and Ibeshe Seaside.”

When contacted the Public Relations officer of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin stated, “We are actively addressing the situation. We have sought assistance from the Navy, and they are collaborating with us to quell the violence.”
