CONVID-19: Nasarawa Records 4 Deaths

*Lifts Ban on Churches Mosques.

Nasarawa state government says it has recorded four deaths with a total number of 91 coronavirus cases since the outbreak of the disease in the state.

At a news briefing in Lafia, the state capital, commissioner of Health, Pharm. Ahmed Yahaya disclosed this after a joint council meeting presided over by governor Abdullahi Sule, at the government House on Thursday.

He explained that 30 patients have been cured of the disease while 39 patients with active cases were in stable conditions.

The commissioner disclosed that 700 samples have been taken to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) for test and 620 results negative while 91 turned positive.

Pharm. Yahaya said that the state taxforce on coronavirus response has gotten a secretariat, just as he disclosed that the state has received 30 trucks of parlliatives from the Federal government.

He announced the lifting of ban on churches, Mosque and markets with nstructions to citizens to adhere to safety gears.

The commissioner also stated that government has lifted ban on commercial motorcycles with particular instructions to convey one perssenger at a time.
