Withe election of Senator Monday Okpebho as governor of Edo state, the race on who takes over his seat in the Senate is getting hotter by the day.
A prominent Esan son, Marcel Imoisili has joined the race.
The Uromi-born and University of Benin graduate is an ardent supporter of Governor Okpebholo and was at the forefront of those that worked assiduously for the governor before and during the campaigns
While declaring his intention to contest, Imoisili in his message titled ‘A Call to Action for Edo Central Senatorial District’ called on the people Edo Central to support him in his ambition to represent them.
In his words; “My dear people of Edo Central, I, Mr. Marcel Eromonsele Imoisili, humbly seek your support as your next Senator.
“Our district is filled with potential, yet challenges like low GDP, unemployment, and insecurity hold us back. Together, we can rewrite our story and build a brighter future”
