Governor of Nasarawa state, Abdullahi Sule, has confirmed the first positive case of coronavirus in the state.
He disclosed this at an expandedd stakeholders meeting held at the Government House in Lafia, the state capital April 28,2O2O.
The governor explained that the positive coronavirus involved a lady from Garaku who returned on a business trip from Kano.
Sule disclosed that the result which was conducted by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) was received yesterday.
He said that four other persons suspected of having symptoms of coronavirus were tested negative including the woman that escaped from isolation center in Abuja.
