A civil society group,Peace and Media has lambasted the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (Huriwa) for calling for the prosecution of the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Abia State Governor,Dr Anthony Agbazuare for defacing naira notes.
In a press statement available to PenPushers online recently by the national coordinator,Comrade James Okoronkwo ,the group urged the authorities to discountenance the activities of Huriwa calling Emmanuel Onwubiko a notorious hack writer Speaking further ,the group appealed to the Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to ignore the antics of fifth columnists and lift the suspension of his Chief of Staff Dr Agbazuare noting that”he remains a loyal aide who held forth when he was struck with Covid-19″.
Okoronkwo noted that yhe CoS is a mere mortal and liable to make mistakes”.
