Mr Faleye Olushola, the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe narrowly escaped death last weekend in the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of his boss.

The chopper, identified as Eurocopter EC 130, was en route to Las Vegas when the fatal crash occurred near a border city between Nevada and California on Friday night.

Herbert along with his wife and son, and another close friend, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, former group chairman of NGX Group were among the victims

However, by a stroke of luck, Olushola, whose name was listed on the manifest, miraculously escaped death as he opted against boarding the helicopter, choosing instead to travel by road.
