James Ume bag’s Chieftaincy Title

Friday, January 1, 2021, will teman indelible in the annals of the people Of  Abam kingdom as the the traditional rulers in Abam Onyerubi honoured Mr. James Ume, CEO/Founder of UNUBIKO FOUNDATION and The Whistler Communications with the chieftaincy title, “IKE ABAM 1” for his numerous contributions to the development of their communities.

Ume who is known for his philanthrophy,  was on hand to assuage the suffering of his people in the heat of the ravaging pandemic,  COVID-19 by giving out palliatives to the comminity.

He has since sunk boreholes and done other humanitarian gestures to assuage the suffeeing of his people.

Ume is a reknowned journalist having worked with the Leaderahip newspaper where he started as a reporter and rose to become the Editor of the South South Region.

He is reputed as the brain behind the first edition of Leadership yearly award that has since become an annual event.

He was also there for professional colleagues at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abuja Council, when he donated food items as his contribution to cautioning the effect of COVID-19.

Tongues are already wagging if this dynamic young man has his eyes on becoming the number 1 citizen in his native Abia state in the not so distant future.
