NAWOJ Distributes Palliatives to Vulnerable Groups.

NAWOJ FCT has distributed over two hundred food palliatives to some vulnerable groups in the Federal Capital Territory.

These group includes Albino foundation, Deaf and Dumb Association ,women with Disabilities and among others.

Speaking at the event in Abuja,Chairperson of NAWOJ FCT, Com.Stella Okoh Esene commended the effort of FCT Administration in giving out the palliatives to some CSOs to reach out to such groups, explained that it will go a long way in alleviating the plights and negative effects of Covid-19.
Com.Stella urged them to keep and maintain safety while adhering strictly to the stipulated health guidelines against covid 19.
On his part,Secretary of FCT NUJ council, Mr Ochiaka Ugwu while handing over some of the palliatives to the group, reiterated the commitment of NAWOJ and NUJ in bringing succour to the less privileged in FCT.

Responding on behalf of the groups, the Head of Media and communication Albino foundation, Mr Afam Kasim appreciated the kind gestures of NAWOJ FCT and prayed God to take them to greater heights

The food palliatives distributed includes-two hundred bags of 2kg rice,two hundred Bag of condiments comprising of semovita,salt,beans,garri,maggi,sugar,sachet tomatoes and vegetable oil .
