A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has found the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu guilty of Terrorism.
Delivery judgement today, Justice James Omotosho, found Kanu guilty on all Seven (7) counts charges.
This is as prosecution asked for the maximum sentence of death sentence for the IPOB leader as prescribed by the constitution.
Earlier, Nnamdi Kanu who defended himself, having sent all his lawyers packing prior to today’s court sitting caused a stir when he became unruling in court. This made Justice Omotosho to ask security operatives to take him out of the court, thus preventing him to miss the judgement.
Justice Omotosho has fixed sentencing for a quarter to 4 pm when the court resumes from break.
