In his efforts to strengthening the existing synergy among security agencies in Kebbi State, the newly posted Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Chris Aimionowane, psc, mnips had paid a courtesy visit to the Sector Commander, FRSC, Kebbi State Command, where he solicited for mutual working relationship between the two agencies in the state.

In his response, the Sector Commander, FRSC, Kebbi State Command, appreciated the efforts of Police as there was no record of rivalry between the Police and his personnel in the state. He added that, mobile Court, Joint Task Force, as well as prosecution of their cases will not see the light of the day without the Police.

Similarly, CP Chris Aimionowane, psc, mnips also visited the Emir of Gwandu and Chairman Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, Maj. Gen. Dr. Muhammadu Illiyasu Bashar, CFR, mni at Abdullahi Fodio Palace, Birnin Kebbi. During the visit, the CP introduced himself to the Emir as the newly posted Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command and seeks for his royal blessings for him to succeed in providing adequate security for socio-economic development of the good people of Kebbi State.

While welcoming the CP in his palace, the Emir thanked the CP for finding time to visit him and appreciated his courage and determination for visiting Kanzanna village in Tilli District of Bunza LGA promptly, to assess the security Architecture of the area.

The Royal Father also advised the CP to carry his dedicated subordinates, along in discharging his duties as the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command.

His Royal Highness also urged the CP to continue to serve his fatherland diligently, as a loyal son of Nigeria.

Finally, he called on members of the public to be vigilant and security conscious in their domains, and continue to cooperate with the Police and other security agencies, since today, security is everybody’s business.
