A civil Right Activist Comrade Lucy Akumabor has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for acquiring armoured vehicles and other security gadgets to improve upon the already commendable security situation in Kogi state and environs.
She made this known at the weekend in Abuja, while responding to recent developments in Kogi state, where she noted that Governor Bello has trans formed the state beyond expectations of even the nay sayers.
She said that the security of lives and properties are the primary responsibility of any government and Governor Bello has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is conscious of this constitutional requirement which puts smiles on the faces of the masses, hence his recent procurement of Armoured Vehicles and several communication gadgets to ensure that people go about their businesses without fear or being intimidated.
He is one of the few governors whose people stood by them during the last general election because of their commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to them without making so much noise about it, you will recall that his party the APC won the Presidential Elections in the state and even most seats of the State House Of Assembly.
He has laid the proper foundation for the next Governor to build on and take the people of Kogi state to the next level and most of those who have picked up the nomination forms are those who have worked close to him and have understood the development plan of the Governor for the state and it would be seamlessly implemented if they are as sincere as Governor Yahaya Bello
