Second Eilu Cultural Festival to hold 26th December – Prof Mrs Eunice Omonzegie.

The second Edition of Eilu International Day has been scheduled to hold on the 26th day of December, 2022 at the famous Ewu Government School now Eguare Primary School.

 

This public announcement posted in leading socio-cultural organizations of Ewu Indigenes home and abroad  was also made available to PenPushers Online Media by Prof Mrs Eunice Omonzegie (President Ewu Development Association, EDA National).

 

According to the trending online media flyer, invitation has been invited for adverts and goodwill placement in the event’s annual magazine.

 

Development stories and articles centered on Eilu history, heritage and experience will also be given space in the magazine.

 

Eilu Cultural Festival is aimed at re-igniting the spirit of unity and rapport among the sons and daughters of the ancient kingdom as well as promoting cultural creativity and advancement of the Kingdom.

 

Eilu international cultural festival was first concieved by late Prof Bennard Aigbokhan, former Vice Chancellor of Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa through the Ewu Development Association (EDA National).

 

The idea was later watered in communal collaboration with all the indigenous associations of Ewu People home and abroad to wit: Ewu Progress Foundation (EPF), Ewu Progressive Union (EPU Warri), Ewu Ranaisance Initiative (ERI), Ewu Youths Coalition (EYC),  Onoghesele Foundation among others. With their collaboration under the Royal Imprimateur of the Ojielu of Ewu Kingdom, Alhaji (Barr.) Abdulrasaki Yusuf Isesele Ojeifo III, the first edition successfully took place on the 26th day of December, 2021.

 

The first of it’s kind all-Ewu Festival witnessed massive turnout of sons and daughters of the kingdom from far and near as well as royalties and dignitaries, friends and relatives of Ewu.

 

Cultural troupes from the various communities constituting the kingdom performed live at the event to the delight of the the guest.

 

Ewu has a strong and interesting history and heritage and there is a lot to learn from the event.
