The Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District, Senator Clifford Ordia will on Monday 20th January, 2020 , formerly flag off the construction of the Irrua – Opoji and Usugbenu – Obedu roads by 10am. The projects being executed under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing will be carried out by Mother Cat.
Officials of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing are expected to handover the projects to the contractor during the brief ceremonies in Opoji and Usugbenu respectively.
Dignitaries from Opoji and Irrua including HRM, the Okaijesan of Esanland and HRM, the Onoje of Opoji are expected to grace the land breaking ceremonies.
The projects are part of the numerous developmental projects attracted to the Senatorial District by Distinguished Senator Clifford Ordia.
It would be recalled that the Irrua – Opoji road has been a cause for concern to the people of Opoji who have been forced to take longer routes to their destinations because of the bad state of the road.
