The royal father as Chairman of HOSCON traditional leaders and advisory council made the call yesterday at his Palace in Otorho Idjerhe.
He advised President Tinubu to urgently investigate the faceless group of persons advocating for the termination of Tantita security projects so as to know their true intents.
According to him, “As a critical stakeholder in the Niger Delta we are very much aware that those involved in this unholy act are bunkerers and pipeline vandals who continue to see Tantita as a blockage to their nefarious activities and they have no choice than to continue with their campaigns of calumny
“The simple question to be asked is, Tantita the only pipeline security in Nigeria, if the answer is no, then why the campaign against Tantita Security?
“We can conclude that Tantita Security has refused to compromise it’s high professional standard of securing sensitive national installation to the detriment of the vandals and the bunkerers
“HOSCON leadership will continue to speak out against undesirable and disgruntled elements in the Niger Delta who are now using the freedom of speech to cast aspersions on the integrity of Tantita security Nigeria Limited
“It is now very clear that when there are over 4 pipeline security company in Nigeria and one is being fought day and night because of its zero tolerance for illegal activities the federal government should as a matter of urgent importance commend the authority of Tantita and expand their scope of work to cover other grounds where illegal activities are ongoing.
“The leadership of the host communities of Nigeria is confident that like the proverbial king that has no honor at home that is why some few sponsored individuals now have the moral right to be castigating the hardworking High Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo whose activities is now being globally acknowledged.
“If at all there are any observations or misconceptions there are well known internal channels of resolving issues in the Niger Delta rather than resort to cheap blackmail and unnecessary media propaganda.” He added.
